The Coalition estimates that there are approximately

10,000 men, women, and children

who are homeless or are on the verge of being homeless in Broward County .

Annually, the Coalition works with community agencies to produce reports on the conditions of homelessness within Broward County . The following are reports completed by the Coalition or other reputable sources, click on the links below to view the complete reports:

  • BEDS Annual Report: Charts and Graphs comparisons for 2005 and 2004.
  • BEDS Monthly Report: Monthly report on the numbers of intakes & assessments, and placements into shelter provided to the homeless through the BEDS program.

  • Focus Groups: Focus groups are held with the homeless and homeless providers to facilitate planning within the community.
  • Coalition's Report to the Governor: Sent to the Governor of Florida reporting the annual conditions of homelessness within Broward County

  • 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness: the Coalition collaborating with Broward County, and all the service providers including homeless people worked to create “A Way Home” Broward County ’s Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness, endorsed by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners in Dec-2005
